In the smoke exhaust pipe system, the smoke exhaust pipe is used to send or extract air. The cross section of the smoke exhaust pipe is circular and rectangular. In addition to the straight pipe, the smoke exhaust pipe is composed of elbow, reducing bend, tee, cross and other pipe fittings according to the actual needs of the project.

To complete the whole smoke exhaust system, the following spare parts are indispensable:

1. Various air outlets. In order to send or discharge air indoors, various types of air supply outlets or air suction outlets are set on the smoke exhaust pipe to adjust the amount of air sent or sucked in. There are many types of tuyeres. The commonly used type is the rectangular tuyere with mesh and strip grille, which is equipped with linkage adjustment device. Other types have no linkage adjustment device. The tuyere is divided into single layer, double layer, three layers and different forms of diffusers.

2. Valve. Smoke exhaust components installed on the air duct to adjust the air volume and close individual branch pipes. The valves commonly used in smoke exhaust and air conditioning projects include gate valve, butterfly valve, multi leaf regulating valve, round open disc start valve, bypass valve, fire damper and check valve in air treatment room

3. Muffler. A device used to prevent noise from entering the room. In the air conditioning project, the resistive sound carrying device, resistant sound carrying device, resonant muffler and broadband composite muffler are used.

4. Dust collector. It is a kind of equipment for purifying air. It is generally divided into cyclone dust collector, wet dust collector and bag dust collector.

5. Smoke exhaust fan. It is a machine that forces air flow in the mechanical smoke exhaust system. Smoke exhaust fan is the main equipment of smoke exhaust and air conditioning system. According to the structural principle, it is divided into axial-flow smoke exhaust fan and centrifugal smoke exhaust fan.

6. Hood. It is used at the end of the exhaust system. Its function is to remove dirty air to the outside. According to the form, there are: umbrella hood for general mechanical exhaust system, conical hood for dust removal system and simple hood for natural exhaust system.
